Program Manager with manufacturing/operations KPI experience with Pharmaceutical

JOB DESCRIPION:

Position Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Global Digital Manufacturing Transformation Program Director to lead a multi-year, multi-workstream enterprise transformation initiative across pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

This role will oversee integrated programs spanning manufacturing execution, laboratory digitization, quality systems automation, engineering digitalization, ERP integration, and enterprise data platforms. The selected leader will establish governance frameworks, coordinate global stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple sites and regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Planning & Governance

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide digital manufacturing transformation roadmap.

• Establish multi-year governance frameworks including executive steering committees, RAID management, and benefits tracking.

• Create and manage consolidated master schedules across all workstreams with interdependencies and contingency planning.

• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive-level reporting.

2. Portfolio Execution & Multi-Workstream Leadership

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing, laboratory, quality, engineering, and IT workstreams.

• Direct multiple technology vendors and system integrators to ensure seamless cross-platform integration.

• Oversee execution from proof-of-concept through full implementation and production support.

• Ensure cross-system integration across MES, ERP, LIMS, QMS, data platforms, and analytics solutions.

• Deliver measurable business outcomes (throughput improvement, downtime reduction, compliance optimization, cost savings).

3. Testing, Validation & Regulatory Compliance

• Develop and oversee enterprise-level validation strategy.

• Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, and enterprise IT Quality standards.

• Coordinate end-to-end integration testing, regression testing, and performance validation.

• Deliver required validation documentation in alignment with IT Quality and CSV teams.

4. Change Management & Training

• Lead enterprise change management strategy across global sites.

• Coordinate change control processes and approval workflows.

• Develop and deploy training programs for SMEs, business users, and operational teams.

• Drive serialization change awareness initiatives.

5. Data Governance & Integration

• Establish enterprise integration patterns connecting operational systems, lab instruments, quality platforms, and ERP.

• Oversee data migration, governance, privacy, and retention compliance.

• Implement real-time KPI dashboards and downtime analytics.

6. Go-Live & Hypercare Management

• Lead multi-site cutover planning and go-live orchestration.

• Drive go/no-go decision processes.

• Oversee post-production hypercare (4-week stabilization phase).

• Ensure knowledge transfer to enterprise support organizations.
