Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Kong Data Architect to join our client team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and governing the data infrastructure that supports Kong API Gateway operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy, availability, and scalability while defining standards for observability and analytics.
Note: This position requires candidates to be willing to relocate to the client's location if not currently local.
Key Responsibilities:
· Architecture & Design: Design and govern data models, analytics pipelines, and observability frameworks specifically supporting Kong API Gateway operations.
· Operational Excellence: Ensure high levels of data accuracy, availability, and scalability across all services.
· Standardization: Define and enforce standards for logging, monitoring, and API metadata management.
· Integration: Integrate Kong’s operational data with broader enterprise systems to enable deeper insights, improved governance, and optimized performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Must-Have Technical Skill: Deep expertise in Kong API Gateway.
· Experience: Proven experience in data architecture, specifically within API management ecosystems.
