LMS Transformation & SAP SuccessFactors Migration
Milestone is seeking a Project Manager II to support and coordinate the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) transformation initiative, including the migration from SumTotal LMS to SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
The Project Manager II will be responsible for day-to-day project management activities including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue management, communications, documentation, vendor coordination, testing readiness, data migration tracking, validation support, and organizational change activities. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, Quality, Compliance, HR, and implementation partners to support successful project execution while maintaining GxP compliance and minimizing operational disruption.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise technology implementations, software migrations, or business transformation initiatives within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of the LMS transformation project, including migration from SumTotal LMS to SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action item logs, and dependency trackers.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and completion status.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple departments and workstreams.
- Facilitate project meetings and document meeting outcomes, action items, and decisions.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained in approved repositories.
LMS Migration Support
- Coordinate activities supporting curriculum review, learning content assessment, and migration readiness.
- Assist in tracking data cleansing, data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Support current-state assessments and future-state process design discussions.
- Monitor migration milestones and escalate issues that may impact project timelines.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and implementation readiness reviews.
- Support deployment planning and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
Stakeholder & Workstream Coordination
- Work closely with stakeholders across:

- Vendor and Implementation Teams
- Coordinate communication across business and technical teams.
- Track dependencies and action items between workstreams.
- Facilitate issue resolution and follow-up activities.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate activities with implementation partners, software vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Track vendor deliverables and project commitments.
- Schedule and facilitate vendor meetings and status reviews.
- Escalate issues, risks, or delays impacting project milestones.
- Support review of project plans, statements of work, and implementation schedules.
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Maintain project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
- Identify and escalate potential project risks and schedule impacts.
- Monitor critical dependencies and support mitigation planning.
- Track project decisions and follow through on assigned actions.
- Provide timely status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
Compliance, Validation & Quality Support
- Support project activities in accordance with GxP, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate validation and testing activities with Quality, Compliance, and IT teams.
- Track required approvals, review cycles, and validation deliverables.
- Assist in maintaining audit-ready project documentation.
- Support documentation of change controls and implementation approvals.
- Help ensure training records and compliance-sensitive data are appropriately managed throughout migration activities.
Change Management & Communications
- Support stakeholder engagement and communication planning activities.
- Assist with development of training, communication, and organizational readiness materials.
- Coordinate project communications and status reporting.
- Help drive adoption of new learning processes and system capabilities.
- Escalate stakeholder concerns and support resolution efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- GXP Experience
- 5+ years of project management experience supporting technology implementations, business transformation initiatives, or enterprise software deployments.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and business teams.
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules, status reports, RAID logs, and project documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery approaches.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning, SumTotal LMS, Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or similar learning management platforms.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with GxP compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, or Computer System Validation (CSV) activities.
- Experience coordinating vendor-led implementation projects.
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $60.00/Hr - USD $65.00/Hr.
