Revit Specialist Electrical Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Revit Specialist Electrical Engineering for a hybrid role (3 days a week in office).

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced REVIT Electrical Designer to support electrical engineering projects across multiple delivery methods. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design work, collaboration, and mentoring junior designers while staying current with BIM trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee electrical BIM processes and workflows for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and project requirements
* Preparation and layout of electrical BIM drawings ensuring coordination with all engineering departments at all phases of project production, including schematic design phase, design development phase, permitting phase, and construction documents phase
* Attend electrical project BIM related meetings with designers and engineers to help maintain business relationships with clients, partners, architects, owners, other design and construction professionals
* Facilitate coordination between multiple disciplines to detect electrical clashes and improve design efficiency
* Maintain electrical BIM content, templates, and families to improve efficiency and standardization and ensure accurate model updates based on design revisions and field changes
* Meet deadlines, work independently or as part of a team, accountable, maintain focus on setting objectives and goals
* Support electrical engineering projects, associated assignments, and action items
* Assist with mentoring and supporting less experienced electrical designers
* Participate in site investigations, assessments, and client meetings
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of BIM experience in the electrical engineering industry
* Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in deliverables and communications, maintains high-quality standards, and good follow-up skills
* Thoroughly deals with project details, delivers clear, accurate depiction of status
* Revit proficiency required, and familiarity with other architectural and engineering software programs
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
* Must be based in Tampa
* Revit proficiency required; Familiarity with additional architectural and engineering software preferred
* Highly proficient with Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), internet, and web-based applications
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Ability to clearly convey information verbally, in writing, and through graphical documentation
* Up-to-date knowledge of BIM industry trends and emerging technologies

Strong understanding of construction delivery methods including:
* Design-Build
* Design-Bid-Build
* Fast-Track and other project delivery models

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
* Travel required 10-35%, including site visits and client meetings
* Ability to remain stationary (sitting or standing) for extended periods
* Occasional extended hours, evenings, or weekends to meet project deadlines
* Manual dexterity to operate keyboards, mouse, and related equipment

May be exposed to:
* Moving mechanical parts and electrical systems
* High or confined spaces
* Outdoor weather conditions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
