They recently stood up a data center in Ashburn, VA, so while the position is mostly remote, we're looking for someone local who can be on-site when needed to ensure uptime and resolve hardware, networking, and server issues swiftly.
Requirements:

Proven experience designing networks and maintaining physical infrastructure.
Possesses a deep understanding of routers/switches and establishing connectivity between servers.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, including networking, security, and automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in performance tuning and infrastructure automation.
Must be based near Ashburn, VA for occasional on-site support.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Experience with object storage platforms such as MinIO, particularly in cloud native or Kubernetes environments.
