Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator who has experience in the construction industry. In this role, you will coordinate and manage project activities to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This position requires a collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at working with both internal teams and external consultants to drive project success.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple project teams and external consultants to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to evaluate and implement innovative design initiatives.
Assist in the development of construction documents, lot-specific plans, and necessary project revisions.
Oversee the discovery and design phases of new technology projects within architectural operations.
Ensure compliance with construction codes and interpret relevant project information accurately.
Lead and engage team members by sharing insights, resolving challenges, and promoting best practices.
Monitor and maintain project workflows, adhering to established procedures and standards.
Provide opportunities for continuous improvement by identifying roadblocks and offering actionable solutions.
Support senior leadership by conducting limited business analysis and contributing to informed decision-making.
Assist in the creation and governance of standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects effectively.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail orientation, planning, and time management.
Architecture and Construction Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other relevant tools for project coordination.
Experience with AutoCAD
Familiarity with construction codes and the ability to interpret technical information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in fostering collaboration among team members.
Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures within the construction industry.
Experience in residential construction and design frameworks is highly desirable.
