Senior Technology IT Consultant (.Net)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology IT Consultant to spearhead our horizontal technology initiatives focused on SDLC process automation, DevOps, AI, and Cloud Infrastructure. This strategic leadership role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and visionary thinking to drive innovation, operational excellence, and impactful deliverables for internal stakeholders across SRE, Release, Development, Operations, and Audit teams. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of hands-on IT experience, exceptional communication skills for engaging senior leadership, and a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams within complex technological landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps for SDLC, DevOps, Cloud, AI/ML, and application modernization aligned with enterprise goals.
• Foster collaboration across App Dev, SRE, Release, and Audit teams to ensure seamless application delivery.
• Present strategic initiatives, project updates, and ROI analyses to Managing Directors, emphasizing business impact.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML, container orchestration, and serverless architectures to maintain a competitive edge.
• Drive quarterly planning cycles, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, risks, and resource capacity.
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive culture that promotes continuous learning, experimentation, and engineering excellence.

Technical & Hands-On Responsibilities:

• Design and review scalable solutions leveraging Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Python, Node.js, .NET, SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, React, and OpenAI APIs.
• Establish and uphold best practices in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates), GitOps, and automated testing frameworks.
• Contribute directly through code reviews, troubleshooting production incidents, and proof-of-concept development for critical projects.
• Optimize cloud architecture across Azure and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring resource efficiency and cost management.

Delivery & Operations Management:

• Oversee the timely delivery of internal application features, platform enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with Release teams to define deployment protocols, rollback strategies, and governance.
• Partner with SRE teams to establish SLOs/SLIs, enhance system reliability, and minimize MTTR.
• Implement observability frameworks with tools like Elasticsearch and Kafka for real-time monitoring and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, SOC 2, GDPR, and other regulatory standards; support audit processes.
• Enforce security standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement robust identity and access management policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

• 15+ years of comprehensive IT experience with progressive technical and leadership roles.
• Bachelor s in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master s preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Node.js, .NET (C#), SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka.
• Advanced cloud architecture experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform, including security and cost optimization.
• Deep understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration.
