Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Google Cloud platforms, including Cloud Foundation, Landing Zone, networking, security, governance, identity integration, and automation.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on and capable of combining strategic architecture with practical implementation while working closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Google Cloud Platform Cloud Foundation and Landing Zone architecture and implementation.
• Design Google Cloud Platform Organization, Folder, Project, and Billing structures.
• Architect VPC, Shared VPC, subnetting, routing, DNS, firewall, and hybrid connectivity.
• Define enterprise IAM, RBAC, security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Lead Microsoft Entra ID integration and identity federation.
• Establish cloud governance, guardrails, organizational policies, and standards.
• Define and implement Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Develop reusable Landing Zone blueprints and automation modules.
• Design cloud environments across Production, Non-Production, Development, and R&D.
• Create HLD, LLD, architecture, implementation, and as-built documentation.
• Participate in discovery workshops, architecture reviews, validation, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, testing, hypercare, and handover.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and/or Cloud Architecture.
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Proven experience delivering Google Cloud Platform Landing Zone / Cloud Foundation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Organization, Folders and Projects, VPC, Shared VPC, GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, VPN, Interconnect, IAM, Cloud Security, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Audit, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.
• Experience with enterprise networking, security, governance, and cloud migration.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID integration and identity federation.
• Strong stakeholder management and architecture communication skills.
• Ability to create clear technical architecture and implementation documentation.

• Large-scale cloud migration and transformation programs.

Work Arrangement

• 100% Remote / Hybrid
• Travel to Redmond, WA approximately 1 2 times per month for required workshops and architecture review meetings.
