Senior Developer

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support a team within a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise applications while providing technical leadership in an Agile, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and implement complex enterprise applications

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers and analysts

• Act as an internal consultant on application architecture, integration, and long-term IT strategy

• Lead or support large, complex projects across the full systems development lifecycle

• Ensure solutions align with business needs, IT standards, and architectural guidelines

• Support production issues, perform debugging, and maintain application documentation

What you need:

• Application development or systems testing experience

• Advanced expertise in Java-based application development

• Strong experience with:

  • Java, JavaScript, JSP, jQuery

  • Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring Data JPA

  • REST and SOAP web services

  • Git/GitHub

• Deep understanding of system integration, application architecture, and SDLC

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have

• Spring Security, MQ

• DevOps tools (Gradle, Jenkins)

• Splunk or similar monitoring tools
