Role: AWS SRE

Location: Austin, TX

Introduction:

As an AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our AWS infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions that support our microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Apache Kafka clusters for real-time data processing
• Utilize Apache Maven for building and managing project dependencies
• Collaborate with the development team on code version control using GitHub and Git
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes
• Optimize load balancing configurations for efficient traffic distribution
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues using Splunk
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture on AWS
• Work with MongoDB for database management and optimization
• Implement multithreading for concurrent processing
• Configure and manage Nginx web servers

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Maven
• Proficiency in GitHub, Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
• Strong background in Performance Engineering
• Knowledge of Load Balancing techniques
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Nginx
• Ability to work with multithreading
• Experience in using Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS services and security architecture
• Previous experience in Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance
• Knowledge of Multi-tenancy concepts
