Reports Developer (SQL)

SCOPE OF SERVICES 
Collect and translate reporting and dashboard requirements from internal stakeholders into reporting solutions to meet business needs. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve existing reports before translating them into a VBA-compatible format, as applicable.
Identify opportunities to scale the report development effort, such as leveraging standardized formats across multiple stakeholders using similar documents.
Support internal Client teams to migrate the current backlog of proprietary formatted reports and customer correspondence templates into a new SQL-based reporting standard compatible with VBA Software.
Write SQL queries to extract data from the Microsoft SQL Server database for ad-hoc requests.
Design an automation of reoccurring report deliverables with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Develop methods for improving internal techniques and processes to create highly effective reports and dashboards.  
Maintain audit performance dashboards from external data sources, leveraging and improving existing templates, as directed.
Support documentation efforts, as directed.
Drive a high level of accuracy and quality in all produced work.
Other related duties as assigned by the Client Transformation Program Manager, Client Reporting Manager or Client Leadership.
 
KEY DELIVERABLES
Business requirements for reports, dashboards, data extracts and other similar deliverables captured from engagement with internal stakeholders
Reports, dashboards, data extracts and other similar deliverables converted from prior formats into a VBA Software-compatible SQL format, as directed by the Client Reporting Manager
 
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Strong demonstrated SQL skills
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Demonstrated experience working with business users to collect requirements for reporting artifacts
Demonstrated experience creating reports, dashboards, data extracts and other similar deliverables converted from prior formats into a VBA Software-compatible SQL format
