Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Metals or Machines to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to manufacturing excellence.
The successful candidate will play a key role in our manufacturing process, using their expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Optimization, Production, Troubleshooting, Statistical Process Control, Control Panels, Kaizen, PFMEA, and OEE to ensure optimal productivity and quality. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes, focusing on improving productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
2. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and correct manufacturing issues.
3. Utilize Process Optimization techniques to streamline production processes and reduce waste.
4. Troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
5. Use Statistical Process Control methods to monitor and control the manufacturing process.
6. Design and implement Control Panels to enhance the manufacturing process.
7. Implement Kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.
8. Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify potential failures and implement corrective actions.
9. Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to maximize manufacturing productivity.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing goals and objectives are met.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, preferably in the Metals or Machines industry.
3. Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Optimization, Production, Troubleshooting, Statistical Process Control, Control Panels, Kaizen, PFMEA, and OEE.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost reduction techniques.
8. Proficient in using computer software and applications related to manufacturing processes.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
