Job Summary:Seeking a Summer Intern to support the enhancements and AI enablement for the Medium Voltage Motors quotation tool used by Application Engineers (AE's). The tool consolidates engineering reference documents and product catalogs into a single platform and captures highly detailed quote data that will be used to drive future AI-assisted quoting. This role combines engineering workflow understanding, data analysis, and early AI planning, with the intern acting as the key connection between engineering users and a third-party development team.
Responsibilities:- Support UQE enhancements by helping validate new features, catalog updates, and workflow changes through structured testing and feedback.
- Work with Application Engineers to learn quoting processes, motor configuration rules, and engineering requirements that influence the tool's logic.
- Assist with data organization, cleanup, and structuring to prepare datasets for future AI and automation capabilities.
- Document engineering workflows, decision rules, exception handling, and motor attribute mappings used in the quoting process.
- Translate engineering feedback into clear and actionable requirements for the development team.
- Track enhancement requests, identify defects, and assist in verifying development fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and IT stakeholders to support continuous improvement of the UQE.
- Participate in onboarding and training sessions hosted at the Houston, TX headquarters.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
