Summary

Job Title – Data Quality Lead

Location – Irving, TX

Job Type – Full Time

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Quality Management

  • Develop and implement enterprise‑wide data quality frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs, including completeness, accuracy, integrity, validity, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Perform data profiling, data validation, root‑cause analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Maintain and enhance data quality rules, scorecards, dashboards, and quality metrics.

2. Data Governance

  • Partner with Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to align data quality standards with enterprise data governance strategy.
  • Contribute to data cataloging, metadata management, business glossary creation, and critical data element (CDE) identification.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance (e.g., Basel II/III, BCBS 239, GDPR, RBI guidelines).
  • Lead data ownership/stewardship engagement and support data governance council activities.

3. Banking Domain Expertise

  • Apply knowledge of banking products, customer data, financial transactions, KYC/AML, credit, risk reporting, and regulatory data management.
  • Collaborate with business units (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Operations, Risk, Finance) to identify data issues impacting operational and regulatory reporting.
  • Support modernization initiatives such as Core Banking transformation, Data Warehousing, and Data Lake projects.

4. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity across systems, including CRM, CBS, loan systems, and data warehouses.
  • Lead cross‑functional data quality improvement projects and manage communication with senior leadership.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to data stewards and business teams.

5. Tools & Technology

  • Hands-on experience with Data Quality tools: Informatica DQ, Collibra, Talend, Ataccama, SAS, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, SQL, database systems, and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and modern data architectures is a plus.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data quality, data governance, or data management roles.
  • Strong experience in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks related to banking data.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.
