ETL Development (ODI): Develop and customize SDE, SIL, and PLP mappings; modify existing ETL for new business requirements; create interfaces/packages; implement incremental and full load strategies; debug and resolve load failures.
Data Warehouse Development: Design and extend Fact and Dimension tables; implement SCD Type 1/2/3; create indexes and partitions for performance; ensure data integrity and referential constraints; write complex SQL transformations.
OBIEE / Reporting Development: Modify RPD (Physical, BMM, Presentation layers); create new Subject Areas; develop dashboards and reports; implement KPIs, calculated measures, row-level, and object-level security.
Performance Tuning: Optimize slow-running ETL jobs; improve query performance; analyze execution plans; tune repository and BI server.
Production Support: Monitor daily ETL loads; resolve data discrepancies; handle L2/L3 incident tickets; perform root cause analysis (RCA); coordinate with DBA and infrastructure teams.
Documentation & Deployment: Prepare technical design documents (TDD) and mapping documents; migrate code from DEV → TEST → PROD; follow release management processes.
