Role: Salesforce Architect/SME Financial Services Cloud
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a Salesforce Architect / SME with 7 11 years of experience specializing in Salesforce Integration and Data Architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions within Financial Services Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Integration
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, Streaming APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Architect scalable integration solutions between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
- Optimize Salesforce data models to ensure integrity, performance, and alignment with business processes.
- Drive data migration strategies and ensure seamless system transitions.
Technical Leadership
- Provide strategic guidance on Salesforce platform architecture, including security models, governor limits, and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and enforce coding standards and architectural governance.
- Drive DevOps adoption, including CI/CD pipelines.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions (LWC, Apex, Aura, Visualforce).
- Troubleshoot complex integration and data-related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (integration specs, data architecture diagrams).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, and project planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Admins, BAs, QA, and stakeholders.
