Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and hands-on experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-ready distributed systems. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing backend services using Java, while also supporting front-end development in Angular. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and architecture teams to build solutions that align with business priorities and technical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java.
- Support front-end development in Angular as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to build scalable solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into working software.
- Ensure engineering excellence and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Operate independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 6-8 years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on Java and backend engineering.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development.
- Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat or similar application servers.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Angular 17+, along with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RxJS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy or equivalent).
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to front-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive compensation package is offered for this position. The pay rate for this contract role is between $70.00 and $70.00 per hour. The bill rate for this position is up to $105.00 per hour.
