Overview

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Manager of Information Technology to lead Enterprise Platform operations for a well-established financial institution in Hawaii. This is a leadership opportunity for a technology professional with deep expertise in banking systems, enterprise application support, and team management. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with strategic leadership capabilities. This individual will oversee the administration, support, and modernization of the organization's core banking platform and other critical enterprise systems while leading a team focused on delivering secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, administration, support, and enhancement of the organization's core banking platform and integrated enterprise applications.
  • Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals responsible for enterprise platform support and operations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Drive modernization efforts, system integrations, governance initiatives, and technology transformation projects.
  • Ensure optimal performance, availability, security, and reliability of business-critical systems.
  • Lead enterprise IT projects from planning through implementation and ongoing support.
  • Establish and maintain IT service management processes and operational best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party technology providers.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support long-term business goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience administering, supporting, and maintaining enterprise platforms and applications.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams and leading enterprise IT projects.
  • Strong experience supporting mission-critical applications within a banking, credit union, or financial services environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • Core banking systems
    • Integrated banking applications and platforms
    • IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices
    • Project management methodologies and tools
    • Vendor management principles and practices
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within a banking or credit union environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and related business productivity tools.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or technology modernization initiatives.
  • Industry certifications are a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $179000.00/yr.
