Description

Robert Half is partnering with our client, a global technology organization known for delivering large-scale industry events and innovative customer experiences, to identify an Event Project Manager to support a high-impact event content team. This role will focus on coordinating content development across multiple event workstreams while partnering closely with product marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality event programming and experiences.

Duration: 9-month contract

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $40-45/hour

Position Overview:

The Event Project Manager will own the coordination and execution of event content workstreams across large-scale industry and partner events. This role requires strong program management expertise and the ability to manage multiple deliverables, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings experience managing complex projects, maintaining operational excellence in ambiguous environments, and communicating program status effectively to senior leadership. This role will oversee end-to-end event content development processes while identifying opportunities to improve delivery methods and optimize future event outcomes through post-event analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end coordination and delivery of assigned event content workstreams across multiple event programs.
  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, and milestones while ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product marketing, event teams, and internal stakeholders to align on content development and event program objectives.
  • Provide regular program updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and proactively resolve roadblocks while ensuring operational excellence across all project deliverables.
  • Manage large volumes of content deliverables and coordinate across multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Support innovation in event program delivery methods and execution strategies.
  • Conduct post-event performance analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve future event programs.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of program or project management experience, ideally supporting large-scale events, experiential marketing, or content programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, content, and operational teams.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Airtable, RainFocus, Cvent, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data and post-event insights to inform program improvements.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and drive progress with minimal supervision.
  • Experience overseeing deliverables involving senior leaders or executive stakeholders is preferred.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or CMP are preferred but not required.
