We are currently seeking a SAP Finance Group Reporting Consultant to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced FI/CO SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Finance Group Reporting and experience in upgrading from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. The ideal candidate will have participated in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA upgrade project and possess extensive functional knowledge across S/4 HANA, specifically with the Group Reporting module. This role supports the consolidation, intercompany eliminations, equity pickup and other reporting processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial statements and management reports. This role requires strong collaboration with Controllership and Finance stakeholders, as well as technical teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of finance transformation initiatives.

• Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions, including financial consolidation and related reporting.
• Lead conversion of the current SAP BW processes to S4 Hana Group Reporting module
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy during group consolidation processes.
• Provide guidance and expertise on group reporting tasks for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Drive functional design, configuration, and testing for S/4 HANA Finance processes.
• Collaborate with Controllership and Finance teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Prepare functional specifications, oversee development, and perform unit and integration testing.
• Work closely with technical and finance teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Provide guidance on best practices for S/4 HANA Finance processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during upgrade.
• Deliver training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
• Participate in cutover planning and go-live support.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAP Financial Consolidation tools.
Experience with at least one full cycle ECC to S4 Hana upgrade project
Strong understanding of financial consolidation, IC eliminations, equity pickup process, statutory reporting, and accounting principles.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and product owners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to direct and train other team associates
Exceptional documentational skills with standard tools for data flows, like Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
Other FI/CO knowledge – AP, AA, GL, PS
Comfort in working with business and technical partners alike, this role bridges that gap
Preferred experience in a banking/finance context with knowledge of financial accounting concepts
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
