Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Learning Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Workday Learning platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday Learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS), business process configuration, reporting, integrations, and troubleshooting.

The consultant will work closely with HR, Learning & Development, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable learning solutions and improve the overall employee learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Learning functionality, including courses, programs, campaigns, learning paths, and learning content.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Learning solutions.
• Configure Workday business processes, security roles, notifications, eligibility rules, and approval workflows related to Learning.
• Support implementation and enhancement projects involving Workday Learning.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics to support learning and HR requirements.
• Configure and support integrations between Workday and external Learning Management Systems, content providers, and HR applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with technical and functional teams.
• Support data conversion, validation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop test scenarios and participate in unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Work with stakeholders to improve learner experience, training enrollment, compliance learning, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide documentation, training, knowledge transfer, and post-production support.
• Stay current with Workday Learning releases and evaluate new functionality for potential business benefits.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working with Workday, with strong hands-on experience in Workday Learning.
• Experience with Workday Learning configuration and administration.
• Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and enterprise learning processes.
• Experience configuring learning content, courses, programs, campaigns, learning paths, and enrollment rules.
• Experience with Workday Business Processes, Security, Reporting, and Calculated Fields.
• Experience with Workday integrations and data interfaces.
• Strong experience with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into Workday configurations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile or other structured implementation environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Learning certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Core HR, Talent, Performance, or Recruiting.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party LMS or learning-content providers.
• Knowledge of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, and web services.
• Experience supporting global organizations and multiple regions.
• Knowledge of learning compliance, certifications, continuing education, and regulatory training processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Workday Learning functional consultant who can independently manage requirements, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and production support. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across both functional and technical teams are essential.
