The Procurement Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across procurement functions to ensure reliable supply, optimized cost, and strong supplier performance. This role is accountable for developing end-to-end sourcing strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance, value-driven procurement organization.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

·       Oversees sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply. 

·       Develops and executes category strategies that drive value, innovation, and risk mitigation. 

·       Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and leadership development. 

·       Ensure procurement practices align with regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards. 

·       Ensure compliance with Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) tariff provisions, including verification of rules of origin and accurate tariff classification for cross-border shipments.

·       Drives cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.

·       Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness. 

·       Ensure procurement systems deliver accurate data and actionable insights. 

·       Build strategic partnerships to enhance supplier performance and long-term value.

 

Other Information:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.

 

What You Bring:

·       Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership

·       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

·       2+ years of supervisory experience, including team oversight, scheduling, and performance management

·       Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment

·       Experience with materials, fabrication, inventory systems, and ERP platforms

·       Professional designations (SCMP, CPSM, APICS/CSCP) are an asset

·       Expert level proficiency in Excel

·       Understanding of project management disciplines and best practices

·       Highly organized with the ability to deliver detailed, accurate work in a timely manner

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to work independently and in team environments
