Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP HCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Time Management and Benefits modules, combined with strong training and knowledge transfer experience.
The ideal candidate will act as a functional lead and training consultant, responsible for guiding business teams, designing training strategy, delivering advanced training programs, and supporting system adoption across HR, Time, Benefits, and Payroll teams.
This role requires hands-on configuration knowledge, strong business process understanding, and the ability to train both functional users and junior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise SAP HCM
Time Management (PT)
- Configure and support:
- Work schedules & holiday calendars
- Absence & attendance types
- Time quotas & accrual rules
- Time evaluation (schemas & PCRs strong understanding required)
- Integration with Payroll
- Troubleshoot time evaluation and quota issues
- Provide best practice recommendations
Benefits Administration
- Configure and manage:
- Benefit plans and plan types
- Eligibility rules
- Enrollment processes
- Life event processing
- Benefit deductions integration with Payroll
- Support open enrollment cycles
- Ensure statutory compliance and policy alignment
- Vendor interface understanding
- Training Strategy & Delivery
- Develop comprehensive training strategy and curriculum
- Create:
- Training manuals
- User guides
- Process documentation
- SOPs
- Quick reference guides
- Deliver:
- Instructor-led training (ILT)
- Virtual training sessions
- SME workshops
- Train-the-trainer sessions
- Provide training during:
- Implementation
- UAT
- Go-live
- Hypercare
- Conduct scenario-based and hands-on system training
- Mentor junior functional consultants
- Business & Functional Leadership
- Act as functional lead for Time & Benefits modules
- Participate in requirement gathering workshops
- Validate configuration and solution design
- Support integration testing and UAT
- Provide guidance on enhancements and system improvements
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, and Finance teams
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP HCM experience
- 5+ years of hands-on expertise in:
- SAP Time Management (PT)
- SAP Benefits
- Strong knowledge of:
- Time evaluation schemas & PCRs
- Quota generation
- Payroll integration
- Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
- 3+ years of SAP training delivery experience
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP HCM Certification
- Experience with SAP Payroll
- Exposure to SuccessFactors Time or Employee Central
- Experience with SAP Enable Now or LMS platforms
- Knowledge of HRSP updates and system enhancements
