Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for ETL solutions.
• Designing and developing DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data.
• Using various DataStage stages (e.g., Transformer, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter) to manipulate data.
• Creating job sequences using Autosys to orchestrate the execution of multiple jobs.
• Experience in Git and Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Python skills and good knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Datastage server environments, ensuring system stability and performance. (Both on prem and cloud)
• Analyzing and optimizing existing ETL jobs for performance improvements.
• Troubleshooting ETL job failures and identifying root causes while doing the migration.
• Monitoring job execution and proactively addressing potential issues.
• Implement and maintain best practices for ETL design and creation.
• Have hands on experience on datastage migration or upgrade from on prem to cloud.
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in team calls and meetings.
