Embedded Software Engineer

• 8 or more years of experience in embedded systems software development and design.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming for real-time control system components.
• Experience with hardware-software interaction and technical system troubleshooting.
• Experience in unit and integration testing using hardware simulators in lab environments.
• Experience with software configuration control and formal change management processes.
• Experience in regression testing for software release support and lifecycle management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Implement advanced embedded software features for commercial mechanical control systems.
• Execute unit and integration tests using hardware simulators to validate system functionality.
• Design and develop software solutions to resolve complex technical field issues.
• Coordinate software release activities including regression testing and configuration management.
• Produce technical documentation for software requirements, design specs, and test results.
• Conduct formal code reviews to ensure high software cohesion and adherence to standards.
• Enhance existing legacy controls while developing software for new product platforms.
