Classification Management Officer 3

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-orientedClassification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 to join our team in theChantilly, VA area.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• The Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
• Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
• Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
• Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership
• Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner
• Conduct classification reviews and identify and assess sources for classification determinations
• Domestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma and 12 or more years of relevant security experience or Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of relevant security experience or Masters/Doctorate and 3 or more years of relevant security experience
• Ability to handle complex security classification issues
• Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
• Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it?s implementing directive
• Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
• Ability to utilize effective writing, communication and research skills
• Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to assist the government in the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)
• Experience working with industrial security staffs
• Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
• Working knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements

Security Requirements:

Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
