Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan (remote)
Experience level (Years) 7+ years
This role requires strong Billing expertise in the P&C domain, preferably with hands-on experience in Guidewire along with other legacy Billing platforms. Please share profiles that align more closely with these requirements.
Must have skills
• Business Systems Analyst
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe)
• Jira, Confluence, and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart)
• System integrations, data mapping, and APIs
Preferred skills
• Experience with billing systems, or loss sensitive products
• Insurance industry experience (Guidewire or similar platforms a plus)
• Snaplogic
• Basic SQL or data analysis experience
Detailed Job Description
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Facilitate requirement workshops and working sessions
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
• Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization in alignment with Agile practices
• Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and support solution definition
• Create and maintain documentation including:
Business requirements
Process flows and data mappings
Functional specifications
• Act as a liaison between business and development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Support testing efforts, including validating requirements and assisting with defect triage
• Assist with training materials and documentation as needed
