Position Overview
The Server, Active Directory & Azure Specialist is responsible for building, maintaining, and securing the organization s hybrid infrastructure across on-premises Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID),Microsoft Azure services, and M365 Systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, security, and scalability of core identity, compute, storage, networking, and related workloads. The ideal candidate blends deep hands-on engineering expertise with strong operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Administer Active Directory (domains, trusts, GPOs, OU design, DNS, DHCP, sites & services), Azure AD/Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, and SSO app integrations.
Assist with managing hybrid identity (Entra Connect/Cloud Sync), lifecycle of users/groups/service principals, and privileged access
Deploy and maintain Windows Server, file/print, IIS, DFS, SMB, NPS/RADIUS.
Migration of Azure compute, storage, and applications to consolidate tenants
Automate tasks with PowerShell and other tools
Assist with migration activities between domains and M365 tenants
Migration of legacy and active file shares
Handle incidents/problems/changes
Provide Tier-3 escalation support and mentor junior engineers.
Document standards, architecture, and SOPs; participate in audits (SOX/ISO/NIST as applicable).

Required Qualifications
5+ years in enterprise infrastructure engineering/administration roles.
Strong hands-on experience with:
o Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, AD sites & services, replication health.
o Azure/Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, identity lifecycle.
o M365 apps include Exchange on-line, SharePoint, etc.
o Windows Server (builds, performance, patching).
o VMWare/Esxi/vCenter
o PowerShell scripting and automation.
o Networking fundamentals (subnetting, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancing).
Comfortable with change/incident/problem management (ITIL concepts).
Experience with SCCM is a plus.
Education/Certifications (or equivalent experience):
Bachelor s in CS, IT, or related field preferred.
