Description

SAIC is seeking a Missile Defense Engineer to work closely with our experienced engineers and defense specialists to support missile defense projects, including systems analysis and simulation. This position is on-site in Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the modeling and analysis of missile defense systems and components.
Conduct simulations and analyze data to evaluate system performance.
Document findings and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
Experience with missile defense systems and technologies.
Proficient in computer programming and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C++).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Prior experience related to missile defense, aerospace, operations research, systems or other related engineering fields.
Familiarity with systems engineering and integration processes.
Experience with modeling and simulation software.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
