Title: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Job Description:

5+ years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language and object-oriented design principles.
Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails framework (Rails 5/6/7) for building scalable and maintainable applications.
Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
Strong knowledge of database design and development using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and repository management using GitHub/GitLab.
Experience with cloud platforms and deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
Knowledge of application security best practices, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and authorization mechanisms.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
