Product Owner
The Opportunity:

Project and program execution for DoW and mission partner manned and unmanned airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance ( ISR ) platforms and asso cia ted sensor systems is inherently complex, fast-moving, and unforgiving. Success requires more than task tracking, it demands disciplined leadership that can guide mission-critical efforts through the full lifecycle, from operational need through delivery and sustainment. This role exists to ensure ISR programs are driven by clarity, foresight, and accountability, aligning mission intent with executable plans and requirements.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, identifying challenges early, and mitigating risk before it impacts mission outcomes. You will apply structured program management practices alongside strong requirements discipline to keep teams focused, aligned, and moving forward, ensuring the ISR mission achieves success in a no-fail environment.

We need a Product Owner who understands what "no-fail" means. You will operate with extreme ownership and demonstrate full accountability for outcomes, proactively identify problems, drive solutions, and ensure completion without reliance on external direction. You'll take personal responsibility for mission success, team performance, and deliverable quality, owning both successes and failures. You will anticipate risks, remove obstacles, and act decisively to close gaps before they impact schedule, cost, or performance. You'll operate with a "no excuses" mindset while maintaining professional humility and continuous improvement. You will elevate team effectiveness by taking initiative bey ond assigned responsibilities to support mission objectives.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience leading or supporting program or project management efforts in complex technical environments, including responsibility for scope, schedule, and risk management
  • Knowledge of program and project management principles, including lifecycle planning, requirements development, dependency management, and risk mitigation for technology-driven programs
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with government stakeholders, engineers, and vendors to deliver mission-critical capabilities on schedule and within scope
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with program management, or 10+ years of experience with program management in lieu of a degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, ISR, or DoD operational programs, including manned or unmanned platforms
  • Experience developing or managing Product Requirements Documents ( PRDs ) or similar requirements artifacts as part of program execution
  • Experience with airborne ISR systems, sensor integration, data transport, or mission systems
  • Experience working in no-fail, operationally critical environments with high-tempo delivery expectations
  • Experience operating within DoD acquisition frameworks or large-scale defense programs
  • Program or Project Management Certification such as PMP, Agile, SAFe, or DAU Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
