Role: SAP Plan to Manufacture (PTM) + QM Consultant

· Support and enhance the client’s Plan to Manufacture (PTM) processes in SAP. Partner with Manufacturing sites, QRCs/service centres, sales, supply chain, quality, and finance colleagues to gather requirements, document process flows, assist with configuration and testing, and drive user adoption.
· Your work will elevate the customer’s experience across the PTM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Process and Requirements
· Document end-to-end PTM workflows: MTS/MTO Demand planning, MRP processing, Planned/Production Order creation, Planned/Production Order processing, Quality Management, Capacity Planning
· Perform configuration in SAP modules supporting PTM: MM (material master/purchasing), PP (BOM’s/routings/work centers), QM (inspection/testing), Document Management, and FI/CO (costing/settlement)
· Elicit and translate business requirements into user stories, process maps, and functional specifications
· Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in the Global Template; propose solution options aligned to the Global Template
SAP Solution Support
· Prepare SOPs, quick reference guides, and training materials; conduct end-user training
· Create test scripts; execute unit/SIT/UAT; log defects and retest fixes
· Support go-lives, stabilization, and hypercare; meet ticket resolution SLAs and track recurring issues for continuous improvement
· Data and Integration
· Maintain process documentation and ensure auditability and compliance utilizing Solman
· Partner on master data governance: materials, vendor master, customer master
· Coordinate with developers on interfaces (IDocs/APIs), logistics, document management, and reporting
Qualifications Required
· 10+ years working with SAP in PTM (S/4HANA preferred; ECC acceptable) including demonstrated proficiency in system configuration
· Hands-on support in PTM with knowledge of MM, PP, PM, QM, DM, FI/CO; willingness to learn from others
· Experience documenting requirements, writing functional specifications, and executing structured testing
· Strong analytical skills with comfort in data validation, basic reporting, and KPI tracking
· Effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and user training ability

· Experience in rotating equipment (valves, seals, pumps)
· Familiarity with Fiori apps for ETO (Project System), EWM/WM logistics, and COPA reporting
· Exposure to Agile practices (backlog management, sprint ceremonies)
· Participation in multi-site/global SAP projects or template deployments
