Collibra Data Governance Strategist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in West Bend, WI that is seeking a Collibra Data Governance Strategist.

Core Responsibilities:
* Translate business requirements into Collibra solutions
* Assess current environment and recommend improvements
* Provide platform guidance (Collibra + ecosystem)
* Work hands-on within the platform (this is not advisory-only)
* Mentor and guide junior/mid-level team members
* Build and implement enterprise data governance framework

Define and operationalize:
* Data stewardship model
* Governance workflows
* Data quality processes

Team Structure:
* Small, high-visibility team (~3 FTE + 1 contractor)
* High impact/strong visibility across the organization

REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong Data Governance leadership experience
* Hands-on experience with Collibra (DG + DQ)
* Experience building frameworks (not just operating within them)
* Ability to translate: Business needs, governance processes, platform design
* Experience scaling governance practices from early-stage, mature
* Strong technical skills
* Python experience is nice to have

Data Stack:
* SQL (strong preferred)
* Snowflake
* Databricks (adoption growing)

Reporting/Access:
* Power BI
* OMNI

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
