Hybrid 4 onsite / 1 work from home in Greenwood Village, CO

Our client seeks a Data Insights Engineer to own stakeholder-facing dashboards, translate complex data into actionable narratives, and support ETL and data quality efforts within a digital analytics context. The role requires advanced SQL, Tableau expertise, and strong data storytelling to inform executive-ready insights. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver independently within sprint workflows to drive decisions on digital containment, adoption, and customer behavior.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Own and enhance existing dashboards and reports, including legacy code.
  • Develop stakeholder-facing Tableau visualizations and present insights and readouts.
  • Measure digital containment, adoption, call savings, and customer behavior.
  • Conduct ad hoc data investigations and shape ambiguous stakeholder questions.
  • Collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and manage competing priorities.
  • Craft data stories that drive action.
  • Execute projects independently within sprint-based workflows.
  • Support ETL efforts, pipeline troubleshooting, table builds, and data validation.
  • Maintain and contribute to metric and definition governance across teams.

Experience Requirements:
  • Advanced SQL including CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.
  • Tableau development including LODs, parameters, and performance optimization.
  • Data storytelling and dashboard design for executive-ready insights.
  • Stakeholder communication and prioritization across multiple groups.
  • Data quality validation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with big data environments such as Spark, Hive, and S3 (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile and sprint-based delivery.
