Title: Application Programmer

Pay Range:$45.27-$64.67/Hrs
Description
• Develop complex requirements, enhance, modify, and maintain applications to achieve business goals.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting application maintenance.
• Collaborate with business partners to define system application requirements.
• Provide insights and direction from a data perspective, assessing impacts on technology systems.
• Contribute to story refinement and requirement definition, estimating work for delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with Production Support, Platform, and Business Partners on technical aspects.
• Promote and apply best practices and standards at a project and program level.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain applications for financial crimes technology.
• Engage with business stakeholders for requirement discovery and development plans.
• Analyze present-state and develop alternative future-state approaches.
• Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables.
• Ensure agile practices and enterprise change standards are met.
• Handle Change Management, Maintenance, and Platform Upgrades.
• Build innovative data provisioning models for large-scale data sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications
• 10 years of applicable experience in application development.
• Experience in data sourcing, data analysis, and data modeling.
• Strong skills in database development, data migrations, and conversions.
• Knowledge of SQL performance tuning.
• Experience in SDLC, Agile, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• Good knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.
