Position OverviewThe Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure of acquired companies, including maintaining legacy systems, remediating technical debt, supporting corporate data migration, and archiving legacy ERP systems. This role requires a strong infrastructure background, hands-on systems administration experience, and the ability to support security remediation and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Document and maintain server infrastructure for acquired companies.
- Perform root-cause analysis and remediation for infrastructure-related issues.
- Adapt and remediate acquired environments to align with corporate security standards.
- Facilitate data migration and archival activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to architect infrastructure, software, and procedural solutions.
- Create adaptive automation scripts to support standard acquisition processes.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Required Experience and Skills- 10+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration.
- Strong Windows Administration experience, with emphasis on:
- Group Policy
- Remote administration
- Security scripting
- Strong virtual infrastructure experience, including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Azure IaaS, or vCloud.
- Strong background in security remediation.
- Experience supporting infrastructure hardware, including servers, storage, and network environments.
- Some Linux Administration experience.
- Experience with Citrix, RDS, CloudPC, or VMware Horizon.
- Experience with multiple backup platforms and cloud replication tools, particularly Veeam and Wasabi.
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
Secondary / Preferred Experience- General familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise applications.
- Certifications or equivalent hands-on experience in:
