Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Deep domain expertise in **SAP Trader''s and Scheduler''s Workbench (TSW)** within the **SAP S/4HANA** Oil & Gas (Downstream) landscape.
• Experience as a Subject-matter expert responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of all TSW processes on S/4HANA — including stock projection, location balancing, three-way pegging, nomination management, ticketing, and planning functions.
• Experience in client-facing, techno-functional role demanding a strong blend of Oil & Gas business process knowledge, S/4HANA configuration expertise, and technical acumen.
Roles & Responsibilities
• TSW on S/4HANA — Functional Consulting & Configuration
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of all core TSW modules on **SAP S/4HANA**, including:
- Stock Projection Worksheet (SPW): Configure and manage stock projection parameters, calculation logic (day-end inventory, what-if inventory, base inventory), physical inventory integration, rack issue forecasting (including LIS-based forecasts, corrected forecasts, and average consumption), real-time stock projection updates, quality calculations (Reid Vapor Pressure), and inventory on tank level with capacity/time constraints.
- Location Balancing: Configure demand and supply calculations across locations, planning locations, transport systems, and materials; manage inventory imbalances, allocation handling, simulated schedules, and bulk shipment planning within the balancing screen.
- Three-Way Pegging (3WP): Design and implement supply-demand pegging scenarios, manage distribution schedules, resolve imbalances using supply avails and demand items, and support what-if simulations.
- Nomination Management: Configure nomination types, line items, scheduling rules, reference document assignments, nomination lifecycle (creation, partner confirmation/rejection, actualization), and nomination publishing from SPW and 3WP.
- Ticketing: Configure ticket creation, validation against nomination line items, actual quantity capture, and automatic shipment document generation and material movement posting.
- Worklist Management: Configure and manage TSW worklists for exception handling and task tracking across planning and scheduling activities.
- Planning Functions: Configure replenishment proposals, safety/target stock calculations, and demand-driven planning workflows based on SPW data.
• S/4HANA TSW Master Data Design
- Define and govern TSW master data architecture on **S/4HANA**, including:
- Transport Systems (TS): Configuration of pipeline, vessel, rail, and truck-based transport systems with in-transit plant assignments; book transport systems where inventory level is always zero.
- Business Locations: Location hierarchies, planning locations, plant/storage location assignments via TSW partner role concept, tank definitions, capacity and ti me constraints, and location-material assignments.
- Partner Roles: Customer, vendor, carrier, and other partner role assignments linked to locations and transport systems.
- Materials, Valuation Types, and Batches: Configuration of material assignments, batch/valuation type-level stock projection, and quality attributes (e.g., RVP calculations at location and tank level).
- Forecast Parameters: Rack forecast profiles, factory calendars, history horizon indicators, forecast types, and offset values in location-material master data.
• Document Relevance & Cross-Module Integration
- Configure **document relevance** settings for SAP MM and SD documents (sales orders, purchase orders, contracts, quotations, purchase requisitions, reservations, stock transfer orders/requisitions) to ensure proper participation in SPW, 3WP, and Location Balancing.
- Manage TSW relevance and SPW relevance at document item level, including TSW Details configuration and Customizing for simulated schedule applications.
- Support integration with:
- Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) for formula-based and average pricing tied to TSW movements.
- SAP Commodity Management (CWM) for weight-based quantity management.
- SAP Transportation and Distribution (TD): Shipment creation, load confirmations, deliveries, Left-on-Vehicle (LOV), Prior-to-Load, SILO/Tank Management, and gain/loss handling.
- SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for asset-related constraints at locations.
• TSW Calculation Logic & Inventory Management
- Configure and troubleshoot the **SPW calculation logic** on S/4HANA, including:
- Day-end inventory calculations for current day, future days, and past days.
- Base inventory versus what-if inventory derivation (SAP book inventory vs. physical inventory).
- Handling of unactualized nominations, scheduled vs. actualized quantities, rack issue corrections, and movement scenario balancing (purchase into and sale out of transport systems).
- Parameters for start-day vs. day-end inventory, nomination display on scheduled date vs. ticket end date, and rack forecast overwrite vs. addition.
- Support physical inventory management including source types (gauge readings, external system data, manual entry), historical analysis, and tank-level physical inventory maintenance.
• Technical Development & Enhancement
- Define and review technical specifications for **BAdIs, BAPIs, user exits, and enhancement framework implementations** across TSW modules on S/4HANA, including:
- Custom stock projection logic overrides.
- Customer-specific SPW tabstrips and data transfer routines.
- Time-dependent tank constraint uploads from external systems (e.g., terminal management systems).
- Custom rack issue forecast routines.
- Location balancing BAdIs for balance quantity transfers.
- Contract stock projection relevance BadIs.
- Provide guidance on **ABAP development** (debugging, module pool, DDIC, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro ABAP, FPM/GUIBB) as required for TSW custom developments.
- Support integration middleware configuration using **SAP PI/PO and/or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)** for external system integrations (e.g., terminal management systems, gauge reading data, external forecasting tools).
