Position DescriptionPosition Overview:Coordinate and reconcile activities within the Community Supervision Tracking System (CSTS), Intermediate Systems (ISYS) and JWEB. Prepare and submit monthly reports for the Community Justice Assistance Division (CJAD) and Departmental reporting requirements. Maintain accurate user documentation and track system activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate System Activities: Act as the primary liaison for the Community Supervision Tracking System (CSTS), ensuring accurate and consistent data exchange with the state database (ISYS) and Harris County database (JWEB).
- Data Corrections: Perform manual updates for incorrect entries in ISYS-CSTS Intermediate Systems, submit change requests for higher-level corrections, and maintain records of corrections made within the CSS database.
- Data Retrieval & Reporting: Generate and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports from CSTS and CSS systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Data Analysis & Information Resolution: Review, analyze, and reconcile daily reports to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and promptly resolve data-related problems across CSS and ISYS-CSTS systems.
- Maintaining Error Records: Establish and maintain processes for tracking pending CSTS error reports and documenting correction made within the systems.
- Interagency Support: Provide technical assistance to other Texas CSCD counties for ISYS-CSTS data related issues and respond to correction requests from CJAD personnel.
- Data Monitoring & Updates: Monitor DPS website for new SID/TRN entries, update CSS database accordingly, and manage SPN consolidations across JWEB, HCSO, and CSS systems.
- Compliance & Communication: Coordinate with DPS and HCSO to resolve missing SID/TRN data, maintain DPS search logs for audit compliance, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Professional Communication: Work effectively with HCCSCD staff, state agencies, and local partners to resolve data issues while maintaining professionalism and courteous communication at all times.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and technical accuracy in completing tasks.
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
- Foster a positive work environment by communicating and behaving cooperatively, respectfully, and amicably with managers, supervisors, co-workers, and CSCD personnel.
- Willing to perform other related duties as assigned and work overtime when required.

RequirementsEducation and Experience:- Possess a bachelor's degree by an institution of higher education accredited by an accrediting organization recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
- Strong technical skills with a minimum of two (2) years' experience working with data systems, including generating, analyzing, and reconciling data discrepancies to ensure compliance and integrity of CSCD information.
Additional Requirements:- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Meet requirements for access to Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS).
