Job Summary

We are looking for a MySQL Developer with hands-on experience in database design, development, and performance tuning. The role involves working closely with application and backend teams to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and security.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes
• Handle database performance tuning and query optimization
• Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with developers to support application requirements
• Monitor database performance and resolve issues
• Implement security and access control for databases

Required Skills

• Strong experience in MySQL
• Proficiency in SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and indexing
• Knowledge of database normalization and schema design
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Understanding of backup and recovery processes

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux/Unix environment
• Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure MySQL)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python)
