NetSuite Functional Consultant--- Remote (Part-time)

Role: NetSuite Functional Consultant

Type: Part-Time (20-30hrs/week)

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 Months Contract (Oct 2026 to Jan 2027) & can be extendable

JD:

• Go live for NetSuite has been pushed to November 1
• Doing some of the internal cutover work from old ERP system to new system
• Effort is ongoing
• Just did user acceptance for department crossover for end-to-end testing
• Making progress and getting the things they need from the environment
• Moving it forward, made progress in the last six weeks with getting users in the environment
• 2 individuals on staff and they are poking at things to see what is available
• Chart of accounts
• GL
• Still supporting the current ERP system and reporting in the meantime
• With the transition, one of the things that would be helpful, would be able to provide training or expertise on saved searches, guidance around how they handle users being able to make their own saved searches. Discussions, best practices and how to setup from the get-go for the framework
• They have had in the past where users would make their own reports and distribute them, but they had issues where no one was watching them and grew into report sharing sporadically
• Would like to contain reporting

• Grabbed some time from their implementation partners to set up what's necessary but Jason can reallocate the resource to shift some hours to us
• Doesn't envision a world where they move data to a data lake
• SQL servers handle the current ERP system
• Not to migrate historical data
• Putting framework in place with different pieces of information based on the spreadsheets, lookups etc currently being used into Netsuite book of record

• Currently for NetSuite
• RF Smart interacts with NetSuite
• Implementing a TMS System
• Production runs - Manufacturing, scripting and automation
• No Payroll purposes (will stay in ADP until they return to it next year, California has some complicated payroll scenarios)
• Label printing
• Rebate management -Providing advances to growers (if we can get a resource that knows about it would be valuable)
• Does have licensing for Analytics warehouse that comes with NetSuite
