Summary

Kafka Engineer (Fully Remote)

Client is looking for a Kafka engineer to support their Kafka/Confluent upgrade project. Current platform is unsuitable for some of their new key initiatives requiring external vendor connections and hence, the need to explore and partner with Confluent cloud as a SaaS service. This will be a Greenfield deployment.

Key staff aug responsibilities include:

Interview and partner with at least 4 engineering teams to design the Confluent Cloud architecture as per best practice.
Partner with Confluent to setup the platform (hands on keyboard).
Design and provide self-service capabilities to these 4 engineering teams as per their requirements.
