Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Technician II in Lewisberry, PA.
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Technician II to join a fast-paced distribution operations environment in Lewisberry, PA. This role is critical to maintaining reliable IT systems that support large-scale fulfillment and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and collaborating with both local and remote IT teams to ensure seamless technology support. This role operates in a 24/7 environment and requires flexibility to support off-shift operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
Responsibilities include:
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, helping minimize downtime and maintain operational excellence
* Interact directly with internal users, providing clear communication, technical guidance, and a positive support experience
* Managing and documenting help desk tickets
* Troubleshooting incidents
* Deploying and maintaining end-user devices, and supporting site-specific technologies
* Work closely with operations leadership, vendors, and IT partners to address issues efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience providing PC and desktop support in a Windows Active Directory environment
* Experience supporting multi-user environments in fast-paced, operational settings
* Experience documenting, tracking, and resolving help desk tickets accurately
* Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL
* Familiarity with Microsoft administration tools, mobile device management, and RF technologies
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Able to interact professionally with users, peers, vendors, and management
* Proven ability to repair, image, deploy, and decommission PCs and related hardware
* Willingness to participate in 24/7 support and on call rotations
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required
* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (6-8 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
* Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
* Prior IT support experience in a distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment center environment
* Experience working in SLA driven support environments
* Hands on experience with RF devices (e.g., Motorola/Zebra or equivalent)
* Exposure to project coordination, vendor management, data cabling, or facilities IT support
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
