Job#: 3019655 Job Description: GPC Solutions ArchitectPosition Description- The Solutions Architect is responsible for translating desired business capabilities into comprehensive solution concepts, architectural models, and functional and technical requirements. This role designs strategies, technology patterns, and service structures while ensuring architecture and information-management governance across the enterprise.
- The position plays a critical role in enterprise capability integration by identifying opportunities to align information and process flows, selecting appropriate implementation strategies, and defining required technology mechanisms. The architect also develops and aligns current- and future-state architectural models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, project execution, and service management.
- Employees in this role deliver architecture artifacts-including business, information, data, process, solution, application, service, technology, and infrastructure architectures-to support solution, service, and technology delivery initiatives. They also collaborate with project management and development teams to set architectural direction, including technologies, patterns, principles, and development frameworks.
Compensation: $70-80/hr

- Visualize and communicate architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains.
- Facilitate cross-functional architecture discussions to ensure alignment across business sponsors and product lines.
- Participate in business and IT governance processes as a member or facilitator.
- Ensure alignment between architecture standards and IT projects by collaborating with business and technology leaders.
- Develop recommendations that enhance the business value of IT initiatives.
- Set and approve future-state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps across business functions.
- Lead research and innovation efforts to mature architecture standards and roadmaps.
- Approve prototypes and make recommendations on tools, methodologies, and architectural processes.
- Facilitate architecture governance and ensure adherence to established architecture standards.
- Build buy-in for architectural decisions from business and IT leadership.
- Promote the value of architecture practices to senior business and IT management.
- Provide strategic guidance to support prioritization and portfolio planning.
