Python/Azure Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a Python/Azure Developer to support enterprise cloud, integration, and application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python development, Microsoft Azure services, SQL databases, APIs, and cloud-based integrations. This role requires a developer who can work effectively within enterprise environments, collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including development, deployment, automation, and operational support. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and integration solutions using Python. Build and support cloud-native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services. Develop and maintain Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Storage solutions, and Key Vault integrations. Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise system integrations. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions using SQL Server and Azure SQL. Support data movement, application integration, and automation initiatives across enterprise platforms. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related deployment tools. Utilize source control and version management best practices through GitHub. Support infrastructure automation and deployment activities using Terraform. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications and integrations in production environments. Support logging, monitoring, and operational visibility using enterprise monitoring tools. Document technical solutions, processes, and deployment procedures. Ensure adherence to enterprise development standards, security practices, and governance requirements. Required Qualifications 8+ years of Python development experience. Experience working within enterprise or corporate environments. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault. Strong experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, T-SQL, and database development. Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs. Experience working with enterprise system integrations and data movement solutions. Experience with GitHub, source control management, and collaborative development practices. Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines. Experience with GitHub Actions. Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Strong understanding of cloud application development and enterprise integration patterns. Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Experience with networking concepts and enterprise integration architectures. Experience working with SOAP services and legacy system integrations. Experience with Datadog, application monitoring, logging, and operational support. Experience using Service Principals (SPN) and cloud identity management concepts. Exposure to oil and gas industry terminology, business processes, or domain concepts. Experience supporting cloud automation, integration, or data movement projects. Experience with DevOps practices and deployment automation. Experience supporting enterprise platforms and cloud-based services in production environments. Education: Bachelors Degree
