Location: San Francisco, California (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation for a SaaS Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. This role will own the CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability while working closely with engineering, security, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Deploy, configure, and support scalable environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
- Build and maintain infrastructure for integrating multiple platforms and services via APIs.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and operational workflows.
- Design and implement observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for platform health and performance.
- Provide test execution infrastructure and integrate test automation into deployment pipelines.
- Integrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with engineering and security teams to build reliable deployment infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience, in addition to 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workflows.
- Experience building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automation.
- Production experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Technical Skills:- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale.
- Experience integrating multiple third-party platforms and services.
- Experience with API testing and integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt).
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Certifications such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Professional, CKA, or Terraform Associate.
