Business Analyst 3 (455-27-29476) 1 Year Contract Remote
Required
10+ Years - RRC business process and workflow experience on software development projects including: preparation, review and approval of project related documentation.
3+ Years - Experience with the Texas version of RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) Oil & Gas regulatory system.
10+ Years - Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/presentation communication skills in English (specifically technical writing); and well versed with MS Office suite of products and prototyping/screen mock-up tools such as Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure.
10+ Years - Hands-on experience with requirements elicitation efforts; client management and technical documentation development and reviews.
10+ Years - Facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross functional teams.
10+ Years - Strong analysis experience and expertise in assessing workflow and data Root Cause issues for the following Legacy RRC systems: WB, WL, SL, HW, OW, BW, GW, GS and EX.
10+ Years - Strong analysis experience and expertise in assessing workflow and data Root Cause issues for the following Legacy RRC systems: DP and CMPL
10+ Years - Developing/maintaining an understanding of key business drivers/impacts, assisting clients with identifying and solving business
5+ Years - Strong analysis experience and expertise in assessing workflow and data Root Cause issues for the following Legacy RRC systems: T1, W3, W3A
Preferred
10+ Years - Develop/write design documents and diagram business processes
10+ Years - Facilitating analysis of business and functional requirements and design of technology specifications, working with business /functional personnel.
10+ Years - Defining functional design and systems specifications; preparing/reviewing/delivering completed packages.
10+ Years - Participating in and providing guidance to Business and Functional Units in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.
Working experience with Mainframe Environments, COBOL, SQL, Azure DevOps, Visio, Data Warehouse / Data Lake, SSIS, ETL, Snowflake.
Experience with process improvement strategies and methodologies.
Proven ability to lead change and design more efficient processes.
Experience in Oil and Gas industry as well as general compliance and enforcement related projects as a Business Analyst.
Proven ability to work compatibly within multifaceted teams; resolve conflict; and deal with challenging situations.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
CCBA/ CBAP or similar certification
