What You'll Do:
* As an Electronic Technician II, you will play a key role in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and equipment.
* You will work closely with engineers and senior technicians to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of electronic devices and components.
Functions:
* Assemble electronic components and systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
* Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations of electronic equipment using standard test procedures and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic systems and components to identify and resolve issues or malfunctions.
* Perform repairs, adjustments, and modifications to electronic equipment as needed to meet performance requirements.
* Assist in the setup and operation of test equipment and instrumentation for electronic testing and measurement.
* Document test results, observations, and troubleshooting procedures accurately and comprehensively.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and input on product design, performance, and manufacturability.
Required Qualifications:
* Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
* 3-6 years of experience in electronic assembly, testing, or troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve electronic issues effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests and documenting results.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly and rework techniques.
* Experience with soldering and PCB rework procedures.
* Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and quality standards.
* Familiarity with basic programming languages for embedded systems.
* Certification or training in electronics assembly or testing.
