Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial litigation matters, including conducting factual investigations, legal research, drafting key court documents, participating in depositions, and communicating with clients.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
- Conduct extensive, complex legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
- Participate in court appearances, presenting arguments and evidence clearly and persuasively.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys on high-profile and complex cases.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
- Maintain client relationships and work directly with clients to address their legal concerns and needs.
- Contribute to business and client development activities.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the state.
- 1-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proficient in motion practice, legal research, and legal writing.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a strong understanding of commercial law.
- Proven track record of managing complex litigation matters.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Experience in client and business development activities is a plus.
