About the Role
Our client, a leading national provider of residential clean energy and solar solutions, is seeking a Sales Analytics Consultant to join their Direct-to-Home (D2H) Sales Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the data engine behind two of the organization''s primary field sales channels — Street & Block — driving performance visibility, competitive intelligence, and strategic insight in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment.
Job Description
As a Sales Analytics Consultant, you will go beyond static reporting to build high-impact tools, dashboards, and competitions that fuel field engagement and inform leadership decisions. You will partner directly with senior sales leaders to uncover insights, identify roadblocks, and determine which levers to pull to accelerate performance. The ideal candidate is a SQL expert who is also forward-thinking — comfortably leveraging AI tools (like Claude, Gemini, and Snowflake Cortex) to accelerate development and deliver deeper insights faster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Competition Architecture: Own the end-to-end development of sales competitions, including building divisions, seeding rounds, and creating live leaderboards that drive field engagement and excitement.
- Street & Block Analytics: Provide dedicated analytics support for both sales arms — from "Street Scorecard" trackers to "Block Trip" dashboards.
- Full-Stack Data Support: Write complex SQL queries in Snowflake and DBT to integrate Salesforce data and build production-ready dashboards that drive sales performance.
- D2H Equity Program Administration: Develop plan design and maintain reporting, tracking, and calculation of D2H equity awards. Maintain records of program structure, qualification requirements, and current equity point systems. Manage performance reporting for the various performance conditions of D2H PSUs to enable the stock administration team to certify PSU vestings.
- AI Integration: Proactively use AI tools to streamline code writing, automate data cleaning, and perform advanced analysis — staying at the cutting edge of analytics efficiency.
- Milestone & Retention Tracking: Build and maintain tools that recognize rep achievements using Tableau, HTML, Python, and Google Sheets.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain and troubleshoot critical mobile reports used by reps in the field, ensuring data accuracy for installs, volume, and commission-relevant metrics.
- Nationwide Sales Competition: Built the divisions and live tracking for the organization''s premier sales competition.
- Incentive Reporting: Developed a Tableau tracker for monthly sales incentives.
- Recognition Reporting: Integrated specialized filters into Block reports to highlight and recognize first-year sales reps.
- Mobile Reports: Optimized "Street & Block" mobile report views for real-time performance tracking on the go.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics within a fast-paced sales environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake/DBT) and Tableau, including the ability to build complex data models and highly interactive visualizations.
- Proficiency in HTML and Python for data extraction and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (such as Claude, Gemini, and Snowflake Cortex) to enhance productivity and solve complex analytical problems.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate a vague request (e.g., "We want to recognize rookies better") into a functional, data-driven feature.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data in a way that is intuitive and motivating for sales professionals.
- Prior project experience as an Analyst within a door-to-door sales organization.
