Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant with strong domain expertise in Pipeline, Chemical, and Process Manufacturing industries. The consultant will support capital projects, maintenance projects, and compliance-driven initiatives, working closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams.

This role requires deep knowledge of managing large-scale infrastructure, plant expansion, and regulatory-driven projects within SAP PS. Below is the summary

• Minimum 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Deep expertise in:
• Capital project management
• Asset under Construction (AuC)
• Settlement to Fixed Assets
• Budget Availability Control (AVC)
• Results Analysis
• Revenue Recognition (where applicable)
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PS.
• Prior experience supporting pipeline integrity management systems (PIMS).
• Experience in chemical process manufacturing or petrochemical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP PS implementations and enhancements for pipeline and chemical projects.
• Configure and support:
• Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Networks & Activities
• Milestones
• Cost Planning & Budget Controls
• Investment Programs
• Capitalization & Settlement
• Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) project tracking.
• Integrate SAP PS with:
• FI/CO (Asset Accounting, Controlling)
• MM (Procurement of Materials & Services)
• PM (Plant Maintenance)
• SD (Project Billing)
• Manage project lifecycle for:
• Pipeline construction
• Plant turnarounds
• Unit revamps
• Compliance and safety projects
• Support project governance, approvals, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop functional specifications for ABAP and technical teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT coordination.
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis.
• Support cutover, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Train project managers, engineers, and finance users.
• Enable project tracking for chemical plant expansions and modernization.
• Support turnaround maintenance (TAM) and shutdown projects.
• Integrate PS with engineering systems and document management tools.
• Implement cost controls for high-value EPC and maintenance contracts.
